This award is open to businesses operating in Gozo and is designed to recognise the best Gozo Business of the Year. The Selection Committee will be looking at the businesses in a holistic manner, especially seeking those that can be deemed to be the best and/or made the most improvement holistically touching one or more of these areas: business growth and value added, innovation, employee work conditions, support towards society, environment friendly measures.
This award is designed to recognise the SME of the Year. The Selection Committee will be looking at the businesses that made the most improvement holistically, touching one or more of these areas: business growth and value added, innovation, employee work conditions, support to society, and/or ecological sustainability.
This award is designed to recognise the Start-up Company for the Year (Up to 5 years). The Selection Committee will be looking at the business that has most effectively addressed as many of the following as possible: business growth and value added, innovation, employee work conditions and/or working environment, support towards society, environment friendly measures.
This award is designed to recognise a Young Entrepreneur for the Year. The Selection Committee will be looking for a young entrepreneur (up to 35 years) who shows exceptional entrepreneurial spirit, provides a fresh outlook to business and is backed by a good quality business plan and model. Improvement that the business has made from inception until today will also be taken into consideration.
This award is designed to reward a Female Entrepreneur for the Year. The Selection Committee will be looking for a female business owner/s showing exceptional entrepreneurial spirit, provides a fresh outlook to business and is backed by a good quality business plan and model. The successful progression of the business and a forward-looking approach will be taken into consideration.
Family-owned businesses are a main pillar in Malta’s business makeup. The Selection Committee will be looking for a Family business that can show an equally balanced commitment and proficient attitude between the family structure and the business model. Any specific structures, safeguards and plans will be considered in the adjudication.
Financial Services are an essential part of the functioning of the business. These services can be an important business enabler and are instrumental in creating economic prosperity. The award will be recognising the financial institution which has established a commitment to be of service to businesses or that financial institution which is undertaking a significant change in order to improve its customer experience for the private sector. The award will highlight a pro-business financial institution with proven attributes. The award will be given to the financial institution that proves to have the best attitude towards businesses and with services tailored according to the needs of businesses. The financial institution must be licensed by the MFSA and be operating in Malta, providing services to local businesses.
